Wild Oregano oil 10% is essential oil of oregano grown organically in Greece (Origanum vulgare spp. Hirtum) in organic olive oil with a very high content of hydroxytyrosol (15mg – 20mg per 20g of olive oil). Hydroxytyrosol is an antioxidant polyphenol found in the fruits and leaves of the olive (Olea europaea L.). The European Food Safety Authority has recognized the beneficial effect of hydroxytyrosol in reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.
