The vaginal flora consists mainly of lactobacilli and overall contributes to maintaining the proper balance of the vaginal environment (maintaining a normal pH between 3,8 and 4,5). The microflora of the vagina inhibits the growth of pathogens by various mechanisms, such as the production of organic acids and in particular lactic acid, the production of bacteriocins and the production of hydrogen peroxide.
Intimeo® is a capsule dietary supplement containing four lactobacilli strains:
1. crispatus
2. rhamnosus
3. gasseri
4. jensenii
Each Intimeo® capsule contains at least 2,5 billion live lactobacilli strains. This population of live cells is secured by the expiration date for sealed packaging.
Storage conditions:
Intimeo® contains live strains of heat-sensitive lactobacilli. Store the product away from moisture, at room temperature (15o -25o C). Use the product within 30 days of opening. The expiration date refers to a product that is properly stored in a sealed package.
Warnings:
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. This product is not intended to prevent, treat or cure any human disease. Check with your doctor if you are pregnant, breast-feeding, taking medication or have any health problems. Keep out of reach of children!
