Contains:
- Glucosamine: It is an aminosaccharide and is the main component of synovial fluid. Necessary in the formation of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) for cartilage cohesion. Deterioration of existing tissues, especially around the joints, requires constant "replenishment" of glucosamine on a daily basis.
- Chondroitin: It is a glycosaminoglycan naturally found in cartilage. It has the ability to attract water molecules, offering hydration & elasticity, while at the same time preventing the action of enzymes that destroy cartilage.
- Vitamin C: Necessary for the maintenance and formation of collagen by the body.
- Manganese: Metal, important for skeletal development. Research has shown that people with osteoarthritis were deficient in manganese.
