The RapidFor Strep A Rapid Test Kit is an immunochromatographic rapid test for the qualitative detection of Streptococcus type A antigens in oropharyngeal swab samples.

Antibodies specific for strep A antigens are located on the test line area.
During the test, the processed sample migrates across the membrane and any antigens from the smear sample are captured by the Strep A antibodies, which attach to indicator particles.
