The contents can be consumed directly from the sachet or with a glass of water. Each sachet should be consumed immediately after opening. It is recommended that you take taniGO in one dose in the morning. taniGO® usually works within 24 to 48 hours. Raspberry aroma.
- Adults: 1 to 2 sachets per day.
- Children from 8 years and older: Start with 1 sachet every two days. 2 sachets per day maximum.
- For children from 8 to 12 years old, it is recommended to seek the advice of a doctor.
- The daily dose can be adjusted as needed.
Contraindications-InteractionsIt should not be used in the following cases:
- Allergy (hypersensitivity) to macrogol 4000 (polyethylene glycol or PEG) or to any of the other ingredients.
- Serious bowel disease such as: Inflammation of the bowel (such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease) or abnormal dilatation of the bowel (toxic megacolon), Bowel perforation or risk of bowel perforation (a hole in the bowel walls), Obstruction or suspected obstruction of the bowel (ileus or suspected bowel obstruction or symptoms of bowel obstruction), Abdominal pain of unknown etiology.
PrecautionsThe maximum duration of treatment should not exceed 15 days. taniGO® should not be used daily for an extended period of time without diagnosing the cause of the constipation. In case of persistent abdominal pain you should consult the doctor.
Special care is recommended for patients:
- Elderly people
- With reduced renal or hepatic function,
- They are taking diuretics (drugs that increase diuresis) because they may notice a decrease in the levels of sodium (salt) or potassium in the blood.
In case of diarrhoea, the use of taniGO® must be discontinued. You should hydrate and contact a doctor or pharmacist. As with all suppositories, the possibility of an organic disorder must be ruled out before taking taniGO.
