Cicalfate+ Scar Gel helps improve the appearance of scars. The texture of the gel creates a protective film on the skin and helps to massage it. A customized formulation within a moisturizing texture ideal for massage. Its active ingredients have been selected so that the Gel protects and hydrates the scar area, favors proper tissue repair and soothes the skin. How to apply Cicalfate + Gel for scars?
Apply twice a day and gently massage into the skin along the scar.
Instructions for the massage: To determine the maturity of a scar, we must evaluate the recoloring time of the skin by pressing on the scar:
press on the scar and time the time it takes for the scar to recolor. Normal recoloring time is about 3 seconds. The shorter the time, the more immature the scar.
1. If the scar recolors in less than a second (about one month after the procedure) : The scar is not yet mature Apply the product to the clean and dry scar by pressing gently. Use the index finger to gently apply the product along the scar.
2. If the scar recolors in 1 to 2 seconds: Perform a palm massage with the thumb and forefinger along the scar. Gently pinch the skin between your fingers and slide it up. Cook until the product is completely absorbed (about 5 minutes).
3. If the scar recolors after 3 seconds (usually 3 months after the procedure): The scar is mature. Massage the scar by stretching it so that it does not expand. Use your index finger and middle finger until the product is completely absorbed (about 5 minutes).
