Lavender was used to perfume baths by the Romans and its name comes from the Latin word "lavare" which means "to wash". It is one of the most widespread essences and has multiple uses. It relaxes the body and spirit and helps in a peaceful sleep, has regenerative properties and is used directly on the skin for burns, irritations and stings.
