Iron is one of the most important components of blood and certain enzymes related to protein metabolism. In particular, iron is an essential element for the synthesis of hemoglobin and certain enzymes responsible for the transport of oxygen to body tissues and muscle cells. Sufficient iron helps with immune function, cardiovascular health and cognition
