Niacin (B3), also known as vitamin PP (pellagra preventive) exists in nature in two forms, as nicotinic acid and as niacinamide.

It is involved in many processes in the human body (carbohydrate, fat & protein metabolism), as research has shown that it favors the synthesis of bile salts, which are necessary for the digestion of lipids, resulting in healthy cholesterol levels. It also contributes to maintaining the health of the skin, mucous membranes & nervous system, as well as reducing fatigue.

The Vitamin B3 250mg by HealthAid it is in prolonged release tablets, so that a constant amount of the vitamin is released during the day and it is in the form of niacinamide, the most active form of niacin and safer to use than nicotinic acid.
