Its B-50 Complex
NOW contains the entire complex of B vitamins in combination with choline and inositol. More specifically, the B vitamins:
- They support energy levels.
- They maintain healthy homocysteine metabolism.
- They promote the health of the nervous system.
All of the above contribute to addressing the symptoms and causes of anxiety, depression and cardiovascular disease.
B vitamins are water soluble. With the exception of B-12, they are in limited concentration in the body and therefore require daily replenishment. While B-12 is stored in the liver, dietary sources are only of animal origin (meat, dairy), so supplemental B-12 may be especially important for people following a vegetarian diet.
According to the international preventive medicine literature, the necessary doses of B vitamins cannot in any case be obtained through diet alone, therefore it becomes necessary to take supplements of the B vitamin complex in people who follow a strictly vegetarian diet.
