Vitamin B3 is water-soluble and is found in various forms, which are more widely known under the name Niacin.

One of these forms is Nicotinamide, which is synonymous with Niacinamide and is the form of B3 found in nutritional supplements. Our body can produce some niacin from this amino acid tryptophan, as niacin and tryptophan have significant similarities in their chemical structure.
